Thriller video evaluation- Question 7- Looking back at your preliminary task wat do you feel you have learnt in the progression to the main task?

Here is my question 7 answer. I decided to record this on my IPhone as I felt like on this question there was lots to say and would be better spoken than written. I edited and created this video using the popular application IMovie that I really enjoy to play about with and make mini short videos.

I hope you enjoy watching this video and viewing the rest of my blog, thank you!

Thriller video evaluation- Question 6 - What have you learnt about different technologies in the process of constructing this product?

Question 6- What have you learnt about technologies in the process of constructing this product?

Directly above is a short video I made on powerpoint that contains slides 40 seconds long explaining different things answering this question . However, you may struggle to see the words as I have realised after uploading the words are a bit blurry. Below there is a link to a prezi presentation containing the same slides I used on powerpoint. This might be more helpfulif you don't have perfect eye sight!

Thriller video evaluation - Question 4 and Question 5

Question 4 - Who would be the audience for your media product?

Here is question 4 of my thriller video evaluation. For some reason you had to upgrade to download my work as a poster so I had to screenshot it and put it on a prezi. The website I used to make this poster was glogster .
I hope you enjoy reading anyway!

Question 5- How did you attract/address your audience?

So for question 5, I used a website called gliffy to answer this question . Gliffy is an online mind map and flow diagram maker. I really enjoyed answering the question and making the mind map/ flow diagram. The link for the flow diagram on this question is below, so click it . Enjoy!

Question 3 of my thriller evaluation- What kind of media institutes would distribute your product and why?

>

So this is question 3 for my thriller video evaluation. The question is 'What kind of media institutions will distribute your product and why?'. I have produced the answer to this question using 'Evernote' which is an internet based site where you can make online notes. The link for it is below, however clicking the link may not work as I believe it requires a username and password to view. So directly above is a screenshot of what I wrote, answering question 3.

Thriller video evaluation- Question 2 - How does your media product represent particular social groups?

So this is what my mind map looks like overall answering question 2, 'How does your media product represent particular social groups?'. As you can see from the diagram, it isn't very clear, so I have zoomed in and enlarged the bubbles so it's easier for you to read :)
So this is my answer to question 2. I apologise that the layout and organisation of it is slightly messy. I previously tried to attach the link but then I realised the link would only open if you used my login and password to get on it. I made this mind map on 'Bubbl'. Some of the bubbles are slightly enlarged, this is because you can't see the words clear enough to read them .
Anyway, enjoy reading this post!

Thriller video evaluation - Question 1- In what way does your media product use, develop or challenge real life media conventions?

So this is the first question of my thriller opening video evaluation ! This question basically says how my video is actually like a thriller . It explains in good detail what things make my film a thriller . I have also linked it back to real life thriller films to compare what my thriller video has and what a normal thriller video includes.

Enjoy scrolling through these slides!

From 5 to 2

This video is a short summary of me and Charlotte about our journey this year experiencing and learning about media studies. This video is not part of our evaluation, its just a short, simple explanation that finishes and puts our blog to an end this year. We wanted to just explain the simple, brief bits that we never really had chance to explain, for example: how the group has changed and decreased rapidly. How we have made massive alterations and adjustments to the storyline . How people leaving our group has affected our work and what other things put us on hold during the making of both our preliminary task and oue thriller video.

This video was filmed on my Iphone 6s and the quality still turned out just as decent as on a Nikon camera! Both Charlotte and I have constructed and created this video on IMovie, adding some whirlwinding effects that will entice you to keep on watching .

I hope you get a better understanding of what we have experienced this year and enjoy reading both Charlotte and I's blog and love watching this 3 minute video!

Thank you :) Happy watching :)

Final thriller opening video- Behind the mask!

So this is mine and the groups finalized piece of work, our thriller opening video! I hope you find it watching it enticing and just as enjoyable as we found filming it!

We tried our hardest to make 'Behind the mask' the best we could . Yes we could've added some more things, but overall the whole group is proud of this video.

Enjoy watching!

New effects I have discovered by making the thriller opening...

Here is a mind map presentation which displays and explains what effects I have learnt to do while making my thriller opening video and how I have learnt to do these things . It also explains how my effect skills have improved from the preliminary task back in October .
